What made you to sign up for LWC?
It was a decision on a whim. We had already decided to quit adventure sports, but the concept of this race seemed so crazy that we decided to make another comeback. And if there’s an adventure race in Lapland, you can’t miss it. This race is the culmination of our career, after which it is good to stop this nonsense. 🙂
What kind of trip you expect LWC to be?
We expect great scenery, elevation differences and navigating in the dark. We also expect good jokes and the route to have as little snow as possible. 🙂
Tell something about your team. What does the name stand for?
Our team name means “great adventurers”. The name comes from the fact that we tend to do adventures in ordinary exercise. This is mainly because we always want to find new paths and shortcuts. It often happens that we come home later than intended. We have also learned that it is always worthwhile to carry some extra drinks and food with us. 🙂
What is the longest distance you have traveled in terrain (by foot) in 24 hours?
About 100k.
What’s your goal in LWC?
Our goal is to have fun most of the time and keep smiling also after the finish line. We would also like to avoid blisters and big bums and reach the finish within the given time. We guarantee that this is also our last adventure race, so we want to end our adventure career in style. 🙂
