Why did you decide to register to this race?

We saw the add of the race in Facebook and couldn’t get it out of our minds. So in the end we had to register. This race is something special.

What kind of trip you expect LWC to be?

We expect to have amazing views, good times in the nature and for sure some hard work. It’s going to be a race to remember.

Tell something about your team. What does the name stand for?

We live in a lovely village called Siltakylä in southern Finland. “Sukkelat” could be translated as “fast” or “witty”. Let’s see who are we this time. We have known each other for few years and become great travel and competition buddies. We share a love for nature, orienteering and of course knitting. Couldn’t have a better team mate!

What is the longest distance you have traveled in terrain (by foot) in 24 hours?

We haven’t done any ultra races, yet. So this one will be the first. But I believe it’s not the last .

What’s your goal in LWC?

Enjoy the journey and the scenery.
