Please introduce the members of the team and tell us how did you end up racing together.
We are childhood orienteering friends. We have been 35 years in the same club. Last time in LWC 2020 Jussi hiked with Mikael, but for this race we decided to go with two teams. Aivan Raato is a racing team. Jussi and Timo are now the strongest members so they are in the first team.
What are your biggest achievements in (adventure) sports or hiking/trekking so far?
This is our first sport event as a team. We have raced a lot. Many Tiomilas and Jukolas. Some biking and mountain biking events. We both have orienteering finnish championship medal. Jussi has done trail running (Karhunkierros third place 2021 etc.).
The greatest of all: 5th place on Lapland Wilderness Challenge 2020.
What is your goal in LWC 2024?
Try to keep a good pace all the way.
What is your team’s motto? How should the fans of your team support you? Any chants or power songs?
We don´t think about life after LWC, we know there will be another life, another world.
